James H. Graeter, M.D.

Dr. Graeter, a board certified orthopedic surgeon, graduated from Georgetown University and Georgetown University Medical School. Dr. Graeter completed his orthopedic surgery training at the George Washington University Medical Center and started his practice in 1979. He has special interests in arthritis surgery, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He is a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and Director of the Joint Replacement Center at George Washington University Medical Center. He performs surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital as well as the University Medical Center. Dr. Graeter and his wife enjoy skiing and hiking with their three children.
